This position reports to the Global Head of Employee Impact and will be staffed in US. IBM’s Global CSR function consists of three major areas:
* IT Education and Workforce Development, a highly impactful group of initiatives at the core of IBM’s commitment to skill 30 million people globally by 2030 and 2 million learners in AI by 2026. It offers platform-based hybrid programs on Cloud and Artificial Intelligence(AI) thru [1] IBM SkillsBuildfor exploratory level, entry-level and professional reskilling and upskilling to two major groups:
* Traditionally underrepresented areas of our society with a focus to potentialize access to new Tech entry-level jobs throughout a network of alliances and partnerships with government and NPO sectors.
* Academia programs focused mainly on gen-AI professional content for developer communities inside universities, faculty members and train to train models.
* Social Innovation - specific AI applied for social impact projects thru [2] Impact Accelerator; Materiality assessments for all areas related to global ESG report.
* Volunteerism and Employee Giving programs supporting these initiatives, with a goal of achieving 4M Volunteer Hours by 2025.

Your role and responsibilities
IBM is seeking a strategic and data-driven individual to join our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team as a Senior Manager, CSR Impact Measurement & Engagement . Reporting to the Global Head of Employee Impact CSR, you will drive employee engagement and community impact through IBM’s global volunteer and giving initiatives. You’ll manage aspects of the program that connect directly to IBM's business units and the impact our employees make in communities including impact measurment and development of scalable programs that empower IBMers to make a meaningful impact on education, workforce development, skilling and economic opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and lead global volunteer and giving engagement, ensuring alignment with IBM’s enterprise-wide CSR and social impact objectives across all geographies and business units.
* Partner with leaders and business units to co-create scalable, high impact initiatives that integrate community engagement into IBM’s core culture and operations.
* Oversee global platforms and third-party vendors, ensuring seamless program delivery, operational excellence, and alignment to key performance indicators.
* Lead engagement campaigns to drive volunteer and giving across the enterprise.
* Cultivate a global network of IBM employee volunteer leaders, empowering localized innovation while driving consistent program standards and measurable outcomes.
* Collaborate across regional teams, CSR leadership, and corporate functions to drive results, shared learning, and coordinated execution.
* Leverage data insights, employee feedback, and stakeholder input to measure success, identify trends, and inform ongoing program design and investments.
* Manage strategic relationships with nonprofit partners and external collaborators, ensuring shared value and long-term impact.
* Create and deliver executive-level reporting and communications highlighting ROI, program outcomes, and opportunities for continued growth.
* Drive implementation of controls and safeguards that ensure data integrity, ethical giving practices, and responsible engagement with nonprofit partners.
* Lead periodic program audits and readiness reviews to ensure transparency, governance, and ongoing alignment with IBM’s integrity standards.
Required technical and professional expertise
* 8+ years of experience in corporate social responsibility, HR, employee engagement, or strategic program and partnership management.
* Proven track record of leveraging data analytics to drive decision-making, measure outcomes, and articulate program ROI to stakeholders.
* Experience collaborating with technology teams to integrate AI-driven tools or insights into CSR initiatives, enhancing efficiency, personalization, or program reach.
* Strong leadership and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence across complex, matrixed global organizations.
* Skilled in vendor oversight, strategic planning, and managing large-scale global initiatives.
Preferred technical and professional experience
* Experience with volunteer management platforms, social impact measurement, or product implementation.
* Experience handling compliance, audit and regulatory matters related to CSR.
* Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive progress in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
* Background in user-centered design or customer experience strategy is a plus.
* Recognized for delivering award-winning programs that achieved measurable social impact and employee engagement at scale.
* Familiarity with digital platforms and emerging technologies that support volunteering, giving, and social impact measurement.
