    **Description:** Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Atlantic City, NJ office for a Gaming Associate. The rapidly expanding Gaming Department is already one of the largest of its type in the world, concentrating on the licensing and regulation of casinos, racetracks and technology providers, including internet gaming, sports betting and e-sports companies. It is an international practice led by attorneys recognized by Chambers US and Chambers Global.

     

    The ideal candidate will have one to three years of corporate, transactional, or regulatory work. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.

     

    **Qualifications:** Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey.

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    + Gaming law, regulation, licensing, and compliance experience preferred.

    + Corporate and/or finance background is a plus.

    + Large law firm experience preferred.

    + Superior academic record and excellent writing skills required.

    Work Environment & Physical Demands

    + This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

    Physical Requirements

    + Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.

    Visual Acuity

    + Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

    Compensation & Benefits

    + The salary range for this position applies to New Jersey. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000 in New Jersey.
