Job Description Summary:
The Head of Capital Markets Platform Management is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of production management capabilities across Capital Markets technology platforms. This role ensures the reliability, resilience, and performance of critical systems supporting trading, risk, and operations functions. The leader will drive continuous improvement, engineering excellence, and alignment with enterprise strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
+ **Lead a Global Production Management Organization** : Oversee a geographically distributed team responsible for ensuring platform availability, managing incident response, enforcing service governance, and coordinating release management across Capital Markets technology. Focus on operational excellence, system reliability, and continuous service improvement to support critical business functions.
+ **Lead Strategic Delivery of Production Management Initiatives** : Oversee the execution of production management strategies that align with enterprise priorities and Capital Markets business objectives. Build alignment with senior business and technology leaders to ensure platform availability, resiliency, and operational excellence. Translate strategic goals into actionable plans focused on service continuity, incident response, and release governance, while meeting regulatory and client expectations.
+ **Conduct Performance Review Forums with Business Stakeholders** : Lead regular management-level sessions with business line partners to review application stability metrics and operational trends. Use data-driven insights to assess platform health, identify recurring issues, and collaboratively establish priorities for remediation and service improvement initiatives.
+ **Advance Reliability and Automation** : Lead the adoption of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and automation to enhance system reliability, reduce operational risk, and improve time-to-recovery.
+ **Oversee Financial and Resource Planning** : Manage budgets, strategic resourcing, and vendor relationships to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Identify and execute on financial strategies that support long-term platform goals.
+ **Develop and Retain Top Talent** : Create and execute strategies for hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing engineering talent. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
+ **Influence Across the Enterprise** : Collaborate with senior leaders across application development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure seamless support of technology services.
+ **Measure and Improve Performance** : Establish and monitor KPIs and SLOs to assess platform health and drive service improvements.
+ **Represent the Function Externally** : Serve as a key representative in governance forums, audits, regulatory reviews, and industry engagements related to platform management.
+ **Cultivate a High-Performance Culture** : Lead by example to instill a culture of excellence, transparency, and results-driven execution across the platform management organization.
Required Qualifications:
+ 8+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a focus on production management or platform operations in Capital Markets.
+ 8+ years of experience managing global teams and leading cross-functional initiatives.
+ 8+ years of experience with trading systems, prime brokerage, fx, risk, market data, order management, and post-trade processing.
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps, and SRE methodologies.
+ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
+ Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, SRE, AWS/GCP/Azure).
+ Proven track record of driving operational excellence and technology transformation in a regulated financial environment.
Job Expectations:
+ Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
+ Hybrid work model with in-office and remote responsibilities.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
