About the role
As an Alliances Manager, you will drive impactful contributions and focus on outcomes. You will be a key member of the Global Partner Ecosystem, responsible for managing strategic alliances and relationship with key technology partners such as HPE, Hitachi, Nutanix, and Rubrik. You will have the autonomy to lead, innovate, and improve workflows while upholding our commitment to quality and continuous learning. The Associate Director – GPE Alliance Manager is a critical member of the Global Partner Ecosystem (GPE) team, responsible for managing strategic alliances and relationships with key technology partners such as HPE, Hitachi, Nutanix, and Rubrik. This role drives partner-sourced growth and revenue, co-innovation, and leads joint go-to-market planning and initiatives by developing and executing partnership strategies. It also orchestrates alignment across field, delivery, and partner stakeholders in core focus areas including AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and GPU-based solutions. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with sales, delivery, marketing, and practice teams to accelerate joint offerings and growth. This individual acts as the internal and external point of contact for developing alliance strategy, executing funded programs, and accelerating co-sell opportunities across verticals.
In this role, you will:
•Develop and execute comprehensive partner strategies aligned to Cognizant’s infrastructure services growth objectives.
•Drive joint solution development, go-to-market motions, and sales enablement with partner and field teams.
•Build and maintain senior-level relationships with partner account and alliance teams.
•Identify and pursue partner-sourced opportunities in key accounts and verticals.
•Support delivery teams with solution mapping, technical validation, and co-innovation pathways.
•Manage operational cadence including QBRs, joint pipeline reviews, and MDF/funded headcount tracking.
•Ensure alignment with Cognizant’s offerings in hybrid cloud, data center modernization, backup & recovery, and security infrastructure.

What you must have to be considered
•7+ years in alliances, infrastructure sales, or IT consulting roles, with direct experience managing enterprise tech partners.
•Strong understanding of OEM partner programs (e.g., HPE Partner Ready, Nutanix Elevate, Rubrik Transform) and MDF/funding constructs.
•Demonstrated success in building co-sell motions and managing joint pursuits.
•Effective communicator with experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and partner leadership.
•Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or technical background preferred.

Work model –
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in either Texas or New Jersey.
