    Now Hiring: Sr. Mechanical Engineer (Air Conditioning)

    Are you a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with a passion for HVAC systems and a knack for precision design? If you hold a Professional Engineering license in California and thrive in non-residential HVAC design build environments, we want to hear from you!

    What You’ll Do

    As our Sr. Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our HVAC engineering efforts, responsible for:

     

    + Performing full HVAC system design calculations, including duct and pipe sizing, routing, and heat load analysis.

    + Preparing detailed plans and specifications for permit submission.

    + Specifying HVAC equipment and accessories for layout and installation.

    + Using Energy Pro Software for heat load analysis and Title 24 Energy compliance reports.

    + Attending job walks to gather field data for system design.

    + Designing systems such as air-cooled and water-cooled AC, chillers, ventilation fans, controls, and pumps.

    + Tackling additional engineering and design tasks as assigned.

     

    What You Bring

    We’re looking for someone who checks these boxes:

    + Proficiency in Energy Pro and AutoCAD.

    + Solid experience in the HVAC air conditioning industry.

    + Deep knowledge of systems including heat pumps, packaged AC, split AC, VRF, chillers, boilers, ductwork, and ventilation.

    + Familiarity with California building and mechanical codes and ASHRAE standards.

    + A degree in engineering and an active Professional Engineering license in California (preferred).

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
