    Patient Access Representative – Tarzana, CA

    Schedule: Variable shifts, including evenings and weekends

    We’re seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Patient Access Representative to support front-line registration and scheduling functions in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, empathy, and helping patients navigate their care journey with ease.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Greet and register patients for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency services

    + Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations as needed

    + Collect co-pays and provide cost estimates with transparency and professionalism

    + Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-ups across departments

    + Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and internal policies

    + Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and administrative teams

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred

    + Minimum 1 year of experience in patient registration, scheduling, or customer service

    + Familiarity with EMR systems and insurance verification processes

    + Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

    + Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
