Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for loading raw materials, such as fabric, into the press machine and unloading the finished product. You will remove excess material for recycling and perform quick visual quality checks. Additionally, you will assemble small components into fabric and work to ensure that daily production standards are met.

Responsibilities

+ Load raw material (fabric) into the press machine (part weighs less than 15lbs)

+ Unload finished products

+ Remove excess material and recycle (skeleton)

+ Perform quick visual quality check

+ Assemble small components into fabric

+ Ensure daily production standards are met

Essential Skills

+ Ability to operate production machinery

+ Experience in loading and unloading

+ Forklift operation

+ Quality checking

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED is suggested but not required

+ Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions/procedures

+ Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions

Work Environment

Work in a modern, fully automated manufacturing environment with minimal heavy lifting required. Enjoy a fast-paced and clean workspace, although it can be warm in summer. The company has implemented numerous policies to ensure a safe working environment. Be prepared for exposure to airborne particles, warm/humid conditions, and a moderate to high noise level. Regular communication is required while performing duties.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $19.00/hr.
