Job Title: Fabricator

Job Description

This role involves operating the fabrication equipment in the machine shop. Ideal candidates will be proficient in using press brakes, plasma cutters, water jets, and CNC machines to produce parts for the assembly of concrete pump trucks. The role requires working directly from blueprints and written instructions.

Responsibilities

+ Operate fabrication equipment including press brakes, plasma cutters, water jets, and CNC machines.

+ Produce parts for concrete pump trucks according to blueprints and written instructions.

+ Utilize MIG welding techniques as necessary.

+ Assist with assembly tasks as required.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in fabrication techniques.

+ Experience using press brakes, burn tables, and water jets.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Knowledge of CNC machines and plasma cutters.

+ MIG welding skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with assembly tasks.

+ Prior experience in a similar fabrication role.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean and organized welding atmosphere, not overly loud or dusty compared to other shops. Standard hours are 6 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday, with heavy overtime available, typically working from 5 am to 3:30 pm. The shop is open and encourages a collaborative work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
