+ Mondays - Fridays **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION**
+ Enterprise Records and Health Information (ERHI) is a Shared Service Department that supports all aspects of the patient medical record from governance, integrity, documentation timeliness, completion, clinical coding, billing, release, and tracking to management of access, retention, and destruction.
+ ERHI provides advice and resources related to the lifecycle management of all UW Medicine records.
+ ERHI is an integral part of the Enterprise Revenue Cycle and has a unique role in the organization that supports both clinical and operational activities. **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** This position is under the direct supervision of the Records Storage Governance (RSG) Manager (RSGM), and the general supervision of the Patient Identity (PI) Manager and Supervisor. The RSG/PI Records Analyst 2 (RA2) is responsible for implementing the mission and goals of ERHI and incorporating information governance principles whenever appropriate. **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Dispositions analysis/processing: Assists the RSGM in coordinating, implementing, and documenting the dispositions process; edits/audits data in Versatile Enterprise (VE) in an accurate and timely manner; maintains documentation regarding disposition eligibility decisions; runs VE reports and maintains documentation regarding authorization for destruction of records; maintains control file records.
+ Accessions analysis/processing: Analyzes incoming records storage requests, performs retention analysis, data entry, communicates/collaborates with clients to schedule box pick-ups or answer questions, reviews/quality checks records/materials after transfer to RIG.
+ Audits and scrubbing: Entering and editing data in the EHR in an accurate and timely manner; reviewing, editing, running reports from the EHR; working with Patient Identity Manager and Supervisor when necessary
+ Chart correction activities: Performs content data scrubbing and chart correction activities. Analyzes patient identity content including patient demographics, encounters, date of birth, date of death, media, medical history, etc. to ensure content integrity and accuracy.
+ Acts as a subject matter expert for patient identity: Assists with development and implementation of standards to large-scale data clean-ups, resources and training materials relating to Patient Identity. Meets productivity standards and expectations related to correcting and updating patient identity and content integrity. **REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS** Bachelor’s Degree and two years of records analysis experience. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted, year-for-year, for required education.Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.DESIRED:Knowledge of Epic and other document management applications (such as OnBase).Knowledge of records governance practices.Knowledge of patient information integrity practices.Knowledge of medical records content; knowledge of audit procedures.Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to manage time effectively and to work in a high volume, high accuracy work environment.Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative team environment.Ability to maintain confidentiality. _INFO ABOUT DEPARMTEN TOR LOCATION._ **Teamwork.
