    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented GRC Specialist to join our Legal & Data Ethics team. This role will assist in implementing established compliance policies and procedures, monitoring risk activities, and helping ensure that company practices align with regulatory standards. You will work closely with senior team members across Legal, HR, Security, and other business functions to carry out assigned tasks and contribute to a culture of accountability and integrity.

    You will:

    + Support the execution of compliance policies, procedures, and risk mitigation controls under the guidance of senior team members.

    + Assist in monitoring regulatory and policy developments and help coordinate team responses as needed.

    + Participate in internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews as directed.

    + Support and monitor regulatory developments and projects (e.g., ISO, DOJ, FTC, state laws) and help ensure our programs remain current and responsive.

    + Support vendor due diligence and third-party risk processes using established checklists and tools.

    + Coordinate with cross-functional teams on specific initiatives (e.g., records retention, data handling), with oversight.

    + Assist with developing training and awareness materials on legal GRC topics.

    About you:

    + JD or equivalent legal or compliance-related degree.

    + 3-5 years of relevant legal or compliance experience, preferably in-house or in the tech industry.

    + Solid knowledge of global compliance frameworks and risk mitigation strategies.

    + Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks with guidance.

    + Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects with shifting priorities.

    + Hybrid work from our San Francisco, Seattle or Little Rock office.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Experience with GRC frameworks (e.g. ISO compliance).

    + Exposure to AI, cybersecurity, or data governance.

    + Familiarity with GRC tools and platforms (e.g., OneTrust, TrustArc).

    + Previous experience working in or with Legal/Privacy Ops, Audit, or Security teams.

     

    The approximate annual base compensation range is $126,500 to $165,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
