    We are seeking an Assistant Coach for Stanford Women’s Lacrosse to support the program through a wide range of coaching, recruiting, and operational responsibilities. The position will assist the Head Coach in developing and implementing training sessions, with particular emphasis on draw team techniques and/or offensive strategy. A key component of the role includes contributing to all aspects of recruiting—ranging from database management and outreach to coordinating campus visits and attending off-site events, all in alignment with NCAA and university policies. This is a one-year fixed-term position.

    Your responsibilities include** **:

    + **Program Operations & Daily Support** ·Manage the daily logistics of the program, including team travel, meals (home and away), scheduling, equipment, facilities use, and team events, including but not limited to the end of year banquet and senior day ceremony.·Serve as the internal point of contact for campus partners (e.g., facilities, finance, events & operations, sports information, fan experience, creative video, production, marketing, technical operations, equipment room). Serve as point of contact for team parent liaisons, communicate with them regarding team travel, guest list, etc.·Oversee program technology, including video replay system.·Assist in planning and executing team training, with responsibility for practice setup, drill administration, and pre/post-practice skill work.·Maintain the daily practice itinerary and ensure clarity of roles among staff and players for efficient, well-run sessions. **Camp Administration** ·Serve as Associate Camp Director for Stanford Lacrosse Camps.·Support the Head Coach (Camp Director) by overseeing website and registration platform, managing the camp database, coordinating with families and campus partners, and hiring and paying counselors. **Recruiting** ·Assist in recruiting prospective student-athletes within NCAA and Stanford policies.·Responsibilities include recruiting database management, communication with club and high school coaches, organizing campus visits, and attending off-campus events. **Film & Technology** ·Utilize Hudl Sportscode Elite, Just Play Sports Solutions, and Teamworks for:oFilm breakdown and video clipping for player development.oOpponent scouting and report preparation.oCompliance and recruiting database management. **Compliance** ·Ensure adherence to all NCAA, ACC, and Stanford regulations·Proactively stay informed of compliance protocols and apply them across program activities. **Other Duties** ·Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach or her designee.

    To be successful in this role, you will have** **:

    + Bachelor’s degree and prior coaching experience.

    + Strong interpersonal skills in working with student-athletes, peers, and the general public.

    + Ability to understand and comply with all rules and regulations of the Stanford University, Atlantic Coast Conference, and NCAA.

     

    The expected pay range for this position is: $75,000 - $80,000 per annum.

The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
