    ATI is seeking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the ATI Specialty Materials business unit. This position will be based in Monroe, NC.

     

    As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will drive best practices in business principles across ATI working with the following areas of the business: Mechanical Engineering, Equipment Design, Capital Investments, and General Manufacturing.

    Other Responsibilities:

    + Develop mechanical and/or electrical designs to support the business.

    + Generate supporting models, drawings, and other documentation to define a design.

    + Lead and/or provide support in the execution of Capital and Major Maintenance Programs.

    + Lead and/or provide support in the execution of general manufacturing improvements.

    + Ability to comprehend detailed construction and mechanical drawings.

    + Ability to develop the scope, schedule, budget and benefits of a project.

    + Ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization and drive collaboration across all levels of the business
