Purpose:
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Consultant to join our team and lead key initiatives across core compensation programs. This role plays a critical part in shaping and executing our compensation strategy to attract, retain, and reward top talent across our domestic and international footprint. You’ll be responsible for benchmarking, offer development, annual compensation cycles, executive compensation, global pay practices, equity plan administration and compliance reporting.
Accountabilities:
Benchmarking & Market Intelligence:Conduct job evaluations, participate in compensation surveys, and manage job architecture and salary structures.
Offer & Reward Advisory:
Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition to design competitive offers that align with market data, internal equity, and budget.
Annual Compensation Planning:Lead year-end pay and bonus planning, LTI programs, and provide tools and guidance to managers.
Equity/Stock Plan Administration:Oversee stock programs from grant to vesting, manage systems and vendor relationships, and ensure effective participant communication.
Executive Compensation:
Support design and governance of executive pay and equity programs in collaboration with leadership.
International Compensation:Advise on global pay decisions, FX considerations, and local practices, ensuring alignment across regions.
Reporting & Compliance:Manage regulatory filings, disclosures, and maintain compliance and audit standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
+ 5+ years of experience in compensation, preferably in financial services or insurance
+ Strong understanding of compensation regulations and disclosure requirements (e.g., SEC filings)
+ Familiarity with stock plan administration and HRIS platforms (e.g., Fidelity, Shareworks, E*TRADE, Workday)
+ Solid understanding of executive compensation programs including carried interest or time-based equity
+ Experience with international compensation across currencies and global markets
+ Strong analytical and Excel modeling capabilities; ability to synthesize data into insights
+ Excellent business acumen and stakeholder management skills; able to influence at all levels
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, human resources or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
