    Description

    SAIC is seeking a **Communications Analyst** to support the US Navy in **Crane, IN** .

    JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

    + Maintain Purchase Requests tracker and submit request for approval

    + Track item through procurement process - when item is sent for approval, approved received, purchased, and item(s) received

    + Track Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) purchases

    + Contact Leads regarding purchases and dates of consumption for purchased items

    + Update spreadsheet of relevant Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Government Furnished Property module data for PIEE representative

    + Ensure Travel Authorization Request forms have correct contract information and are edited for clarity and all travel is tracked for approval/rejection

    + Ensure trip reports are received, have correct contract information, are edited for clarity, concise, have correct contract data, and submit

    + Sent Monthly Status Report reminders; track submittals; compile and perform formatting and grammatical edits as needed; submit Monthly Status Reports and Trip Reports

    + Compile Monthly Report Highlights into a singular report for the COR

    + Update security roster with employees who worked

    + Compile and revise Monthly Accomplishments

    + Prepare contract projections

    + Prepare Agendas, Meeting Minutes, Conference spreadsheets and Action Item spreadsheets

    + Prepare newsletter submissions; abstract articles for newsletter; format newsletter and distribute to team

    + Technical writing and editing requests as needed

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

    + Bachelors and zero (0) years or more related experience

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Computer savvy

    + Strong working knowledge in Microsoft products and Data Management experience is required

    + Detail oriented

    + Interim Secret Clearance required to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. SAIC will sponsor this process

    + US Citizenship required

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

    + Publishing or Editing Software experience
