    A private household in Delray Beach, FL is seeking an experienced full-time Laundress to join their team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and have prior experience working with high-end garments and couture clothing. This position is based in Florida and requires domestic and international travel.

    Responsibilities:

    + Manage all aspects of laundry care, including washing, ironing, steaming, and folding

    + Perform minor repairs (e.g., sewing on buttons, mending small tears)

    + Handle delicate and couture fabrics with expertise and care

    + Maintain and organize wardrobes and closets, ensuring garments are cleaned, pressed, and stored properly

    + Track clothing maintenance and care schedules

    + Pack and unpack clothing for travel when necessary

    Requirements:

    + Strong knowledge of garment care, including luxury and couture fabrics

    + Skilled in ironing, steaming, and basic sewing

    + Highly organized with great attention to detail

    + Flexibility to travel as needed

    + Discretion and professionalism at all times

     

    Schedule: 40 hours per week
