POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the sales organization through effective process execution, data management, ensuring sales processes are aligned with the broader company goals. This role will collaborate closely with sales leadership, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that the sales team is fully equipped to meet and exceed revenue targets. Expertise in Salesforce processes, customer data management, sales incentive planning, pricing and analytics is critical to the success of this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pricing Operations:
+ Manage the pricing operations team responsible for ensuring accuracy and consistency of pricing data and processes across all platforms.
+ Investigate and resolve pricing & process discrepancies in collaboration with sales, finance, and IT.
+ Responsible for processes managing pricing rules, discount structures, and product hierarchies in pricing systems.
Sales Operations:
+ Lead pipeline management, and sales territory reporting used for compensation tracking and sales planning.
+ Responsible for sales compensation planning and quarterly processes.
+ Manage processes with hands on involvement to maintain a customer master with the highest quality standards, ensuring data accuracy, accurate territory reporting and consistency across all platforms.
+ Identify bottlenecks and streamline sales processes, ensuring compliance with sales methodologies and CRM standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
+ Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to support go-to-market strategies and customer engagement.
+ Work closely with finance and leadership on sales compensation plans and goal setting.
+ Act as the liaison between the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
+ Location: onsite at Denver, CO global headquarters; some domestic and international travel may be required
+ Environment: Standard office environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
+ Pricing and customer contract experience
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and influence teams at all levels.
+ Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other data management and reporting tools.
EXPERIENCE:
+ 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales enablement, or a similar role with working with CRM and CPQ systems.
+ Extensive experience with Salesforce process and capabilities.
+ ModelN experience is a plus.
EDUCATION:
Essential
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Desirable:
+ MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
COMPENSATION:
_As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $120,000 to $160,000 per year._
