Job Description Summary
The Maintenance Planner will play a critical role in supporting the rotor shop, assembly, production engine test (PETO), development machining operations, military assembly, and development assembly. This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and familiarity with maintenance management systems.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities across multiple departments.
+ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute maintenance activities.
+ Utilize Maximo CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to manage work orders, track equipment history, and schedule preventive maintenance tasks.
+ Order and manage materials required for maintenance jobs, ensuring timely availability and cost efficiency.
+ Prepare and estimate maintenance jobs, including labor, materials, and time requirements.
+ Monitor and report on maintenance performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
+ Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.
+ Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
+ In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
+ Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Required Qualifications:
+ U.S. Citizen.
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in developing and maintaining detailed maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities across multiple departments). + Minimum of 3 years of developing and maintaining detailed maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities across multiple departments.
