    School Based Clinician

     

    Family and Children’s Association (FCA) is seeking a compassionate School-Based Clinician to join our Family First school counseling program. This role delivers trauma-informed and strengths-based psychotherapy services in Spanish to ENL/ESL students and their families.

    Responsibilities:

    •Provide individual, family, and group therapy in a school setting

    •Conduct client assessments and create treatment plans

    •Perform initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

    •Collaborate with referral sources and other service providers.

    •Maintain HIPAA-compliant client records

    •Participate in weekly supervision and professional development

    Qualifications:

    + Master’s Degree (MFT, MHC, or MSW) required

    + Minimum of two years of counseling experience with adolescents and families

    + Three years’ experience working with at-risk youth.

    + Spanish Fluency required.

    + Valid and clean NYS driver’s license
