    Registered Behavior Technician / Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist

     

    The Speech Pathology Group and Rehab Services of CT is a highly passionate and skilled multidisciplinary teamseeking a dynamic, talented, and fun-loving ABA therapistto join our pediatric-focused ABA Clinic.

    RBT/BT’s Responsibilities:

    + Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 or small group format

    + Accurately implement skill acquisition programs, behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans

    + Maintain precise client progress records, which may include data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal information, etc.

    + Accurately collect data specific to the client’s Behavior Support Plan & Skill Acquisition Programming

    + Maintain detailed records of client progress and services performed

    + Completes timely and thorough session notes as expected

    + Maintain a safe, clean, stimulating, and fun environment for the client

    + Collaborate with professionals on the client’s treatment team as needed regarding client updates, progress, behavioral concerns, etc.

    + Participate in initial and ongoing staff trainings as assigned, as well as commit to continued learning and performance improvement

    + Reports changes in client condition to supervisor

    + Assists with Activities of Daily Living (toileting, feeding, hygiene, etc.), when needed

    + Actively participates in supervision with the BCBA

    + Participates in both individual and group supervision

    + Functions and/or provides services with an awareness, sensitivity and understanding of cultural differences, similarities, and abilities

    + Provide high quality customer service

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    + High school Diploma or higher education

    + Experience working with children (required)

    + Previous ABA experience (preferred)

    + Previous in-home and/or clinic based experience (preferred)
