We are actively hiring a Khmer Linguist to join our team working in Reston, VA. You will be responsible for supporting a government agency and your office with translation, transcription, and/or interpretation services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Interpretation of primarily individual meetings but may include conference-type settings. Having simultaneous interpretation skills is a plus

+ Translating from Khmer into English

+ This position may require short-term domestic and foreign travel

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

+ Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

+ Bachelor’s degree in education, foreign language, or technical field with relevant foreign language training experience desired

+ Interpretation

+ Translation into English

+ Editing and Quality Control of language products

+ Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise

+ Writing reports

+ Workflow management

+ Triage

+ Subject Matter Expertise in Science and Technology or Sponsor Operations

+ Terminology Management

+ Writing Analysis
