    Part-Time Fire Inspector

     

    West Chester Township has an immediate need to fill a Part-Time Fire Inspector position. Working as part of a team, the West Chester Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency medical services to a community of 65,000 residents, 3,000 businesses occupying 35 square miles. Current hourly rate is $22.57/hour.

    Required Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Valid Driver’s License

    + Current Ohio Firefighter certification (Level II)

    + Current Ohio Fire Inspector Certification

    + 5 years of experience as a Certified Fire Safety Inspector

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Fire ProtectionPlanReview training

    + Fireworks Safety Training

    + Current Ohio EMT certification

    + Fire Investigation training and experience

    + Current CPR Certificate

     

    Position is open until filled; the hiring process for this position includes: panel interview, polygraph, background check, and a drug screen.
