Overnight Youth Care Worker

A Late Night Youth Care Worker provides shelter, security, direct supervision, and support and direction for residential clients during overnight hours. The position also entails various duties including documentation of client activity, completion of individualized paperwork and specific responsibilities related to management and upkeep within residential houses.
Requirements
•High School Diploma or equivalent required. •Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills. •Must have a minimum of 1 year of paid professional experience working with children that can be verified. •Bilingual in English and Spanish required, must be able to speak, read and write in both languages.
Schedule: 11PM-7AM, includes weekends with 2 consecutive days off during the week (set schedule)
Pay rate: $17.60-$20.50
Training: Monday through Friday, 9AM-5PM for 2 and a half weeks (PAID)
Next trainings begin on August 4th and August 18th
The candidate must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance and a Child Abuse History Clearance which are processed by KidsPeace as well as possess a valid Driver's License. The candidate must pass a Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all KidsPeace sponsored trainings. EOE
