Engineering & Maintenance Superintendent – Casting

We’re hiring an **Engineering & Maintenance Superintendent** to lead all reliability, engineering, and maintenance efforts across the **Ingot and Lithium Cast Houses** for a global metals manufacturer. This role blends **technical depth, operational leadership, and strategic impact** —perfect for someone who thrives in high-output, heavy industrial settings.

What You’ll Lead

+ Full ownership of engineering and maintenance across **two cast house operations**

+ Guide a team of **salaried engineers and maintenance leaders**

+ Drive **reliability-centered maintenance** strategy across equipment and systems

+ Lead **root cause investigations** , **preventive maintenance** , and **continuous improvement initiatives**

+ Oversee **contractor management** and capital repair projects

+ Coordinate daily repairs and long-term planning with off-shifts, production, and planners

+ Act as the **final decision-maker** on all maintenance activity across shifts

+ Collaborate with engineers to reduce downtime, increase system uptime, and launch new projects

What You Bring

+ **Bachelor’s in Engineering** from an accredited institution

+ **5+ years** in industrial or heavy equipment maintenance leadership

+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate across shifts

+ Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (required due to export control regulations)

Bonus Points For

+ **Casting or combustion experience** in industrial environments

+ Familiarity with **Oracle EAM** or other CMMS platforms

+ Proficiency with **Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook**

+ Strong people leadership, communication, and continuous improvement mindset
