Michelle Espejo with Robert Half Financial Services is recruiting for a Tax Planner at a Nationally recognized Wealth Management Firm. This is a full-time permanent role based in Marin County with a flexible Hybrid schedule.

This RIA specializes in complex financial and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners. This is a high-impact opportunity to work closely with experienced advisors and play a key role in shaping sophisticated strategies for a loyal and expanding client base.

Responsibilities

+ Design and execute advanced tax strategies for high-net-worth individuals, executives, and multi-generational families.

+ Collaborate with Wealth Advisors to integrate tax planning with estate, investment, and philanthropic strategies.

+ Translate complex tax topics into actionable guidance for clients and internal stakeholders.

+ Identify planning opportunities during client engagements and support new business development efforts by articulating the firm’s value.

+ Review tax returns to uncover forward-looking strategies and align them with broader financial goals.

+ Serve as a visible subject matter expert in client meetings, team discussions, and internal trainings.

+ Stay current on tax law changes and proactively advise the team and clients on implications.

Requirements

+ 7+ years of tax planning experience, ideally focused on high-net-worth clients.

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex tax issues.

+ CPA, MST or other advanced tax credential preferred.

+ Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable balancing technical execution with client service and business development.

+ Confident and humble leader who works well in a team-driven environment and builds trust across all levels.
