Description

We are looking for a Litigation Legal Assistant to join a dynamic and growing boutique litigation firm in DT Minneapolis. This role involves providing essential support for legal matters related to insurance, real estate and collections. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 2+ years of civil litigation experience who is looking to grow their career. This is a fully on-site position.

Responsibilities:

+ Maintain and organize case files and calendars

+ Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence, and court filings

+ File documents with state and federal courts (electronic and physical)

+ Schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances

+ Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

+ Assist attorneys with administrative tasks related to litigation and collections

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Minimum 2+ years of civil or commercial litigation experience

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

+ Excellent organizational and communication skills

+ Familiarity with court filing procedures and legal document formatting

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems

+ Experience with collections and foreclosure matters (preferred)
