Advanced Irrigation Technician Specialist

Role Summary

Seeking a skilled technician with3+ years of field experienceto install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems across residential, commercial, and public properties. Requires expertise in hydraulics, irrigation design, electrical troubleshooting, and water conservation.

Key Responsibilities

+ Installation & Repairs: Full system installs, retrofits, and component repairs

+ Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues using tools like multimeters and flow sensors

+ Controller Programming: Seasonal schedule adjustments and sensor maintenance

+ Smart Systems: Preference for WeatherTRAK experience; other smart controllers valued

+ Reporting: Document work, communicate with clients, and ensure code compliance

$30.00 per Hour

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 3+ years in irrigation service and repair

+ Familiarity with major brands (Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, etc.)

+ Certifications: LICT, backflow tester, and smart controller knowledge are pluses

+ Valid driver’s license, ability to work outdoors, bilingual (English/Filipino) is a plus

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ Proven work experience as an Irrigation Technician.

+ Knowledge of irrigation and electrical timer systems.

+ Good communication skills.

+ Knowledge of plumbing is preferable.

+ Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

+ Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.

+ Knowledge of soil, vegetation, and climate.
