POSITION SUMMARY
At C.H. Robinson, we’re firm believers in the power of in-person collaboration to fuel innovation and support training. In this role, you will engage with peers on-site 5 days a week, igniting creativity and driving impactful results. Upon successful completion of your training, you will then switch to 2-3 days a week in the office, working the rest of the time from home. This role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Become and serve as a subject matter expert for international shipping from time of purchase order issuance through the delivery of the cargo
+ Initiate, prepare, process, and assemble all required documentation for LCL shipments
+ Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed, and released to the carrier, customers, and agents in a timely manner
+ Create, maintain, and update shipments in Navisphere, C.H. Robinson’s logistics platform
+ Ensure a high level of data integrity on the master level of a consolidation including tracking routes, checking the status of electronic manifests (eManifests), understanding shipping terms (INCOterms), and managing necessary documents Clearly and promptly communicate with overseas offices, agents, customers, and outside vendors to ensure a smooth flow of shipments
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Preferred:
+ Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
+ Excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
+ Excellent customer service skills and follow up to be utilized with customers and the network
+ Critical-thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs
+ High level of attention to detail
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
+ Values a diverse and inclusive work environment

Compensation Range
$18.80 - $29.28
