Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
+ Led design and maintenance of scalable, reusable API automation frameworks in complex wireless environments
+ Defined and implemented best practices for modular automation, enabling comprehensive end-to-end workflows
+ Utilized REST Assured, Ready API, and similar tools for testing, validation, and improved automation coverage
+ Integrated frameworks with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab) and supported Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices
+ Mentored SDET team members, fostering skill growth and ensuring alignment with project goals and quality standards
+ Collaborated with stakeholders to align automation strategies with business objectives and product roadmaps
+ Drove innovation in automation approaches, continuously improving efficiency, reliability, and overall effectiveness
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field High-level qualifications
+ 8+ years of experience in API test development using REST Assured or similar technologies
+ 5+ years of experience in leading QA testing teams
Skills and Qualifications:
+ Experienced in Agile development environments with strong understanding of CI/CD processes and SDLC tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Git)
+ Proficient in security protocols such as OAuth and SAML, with hands-on experience in code reviews and risk assessment techniques
+ Deep understanding of microservices, APIs, API Gateways (e.g., Apigee), and documentation tools like Swagger/Swagger Hub
+ Skilled in serverless architectures and technologies including AWS Lambda, Redis, SQS, and containerization with Docker & Kubernetes
+ Strong grasp of modern architectural patterns such as Event Driven Architecture, message-based systems, and caching strategies
+ Experience working with diverse databases including SQL Server, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and DocumentDB
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $130,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
