    full-time** **Eating Disorders Outpatient (OP)** **Specialty Program Director within the PMHI/CHCO, and faculty Psychologist within the DCAMH/DOP at CU.

    Job Summary:

    Key Responsibilities

    Clinical Administrative Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with the PMHI Leadership, Division Leadership, and other Program Directors to design and implement evidence-based clinical programming for eating disorders

    + Collaborate with the PMHI Leadership, Division Leadership, and other Program Directors to coordinate and collaborate on initiatives, projects, and processes within and across programs

    + Collaborate with the PMHI Outpatient Clinical Director to set standards of practice within the Eating Disorders Program

    + Collaborate with PMHI and Divisional Leadership in programmatic/clinic operations, tactical planning, and regulatory efforts

    + Lead efforts to monitor and maintain fidelity to standards of practice and the clinical model of the Eating Disorders Program

    + Conduct ongoing assessment of clinical services in the Eating Disorders Program to ensure effectiveness of care being provided

    + Lead quality improvement activities in the Eating Disorders Program

    + Coordinate and conduct high-quality research in the Eating Disorders Program

    Clinical Care Responsibilities

    + Provide direct clinical care to patients and families seen in PMHI clinical services

    + Collaborate with internal and external providers involved in a patient's care to coordinate on the treatment plan and progress

    + Provide clinical consultation for complex cases

    + Conduct psychological assessment and/or functional assessments with patients, as appropriate. Use results of assessments to inform development of individualized treatment plans and/or behavior plans, as needed

    Other Responsibilities/All Faculty Requirements

    + Contribute to the DOP teaching and scholarship in ways consistent with the expectations of CU faculty, advancing the standing of the Department

    + Engage in service to the department, hospital, and local/regional/national organizations

    + Maintain eligibility for CU faculty appointment

    + Provide in-vivo modeling and coaching of clinical team members to support and enhance clinical care provided

    The CU DCAMH, PMHI, and CHCO are combining to transform children's mental health care in Colorado, building a coordinated system, grounded in collaboration and partnership, that provides all children high-quality, evidence-based, youth- and family-centered care through an ambitious and comprehensive strategic plan. As part of this transformative work, we are creating comprehensive, evidence-based, outpatient specialty care programs, including a Eating DisordersProgram. We are looking for a psychologist to join our efforts in becoming a national leader in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders. The psychologist in this role will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and delivery of innovative, evidence-based, world class clinical care for all youth and families served in the eating disorders OP specialty program in the PMHI/CHCO.This description is a summary only and is describing the general level of work being performed, it is not intended to be all-inclusive. The duties of this position may change from time to time and/or based on business need. We reserve the right to add or delete duties and responsibilities at the discretion of the supervisor and/or hiring authority.The Eating Disorders Specialty Program Director reports to the PMHI Outpatient Clinical Director, with matrixed reporting to the PMHI Chief of Psychology for mentorship.The Eating Disorders OP Specialty Program Director will supervise (e.g., hire, terminate, discipline, and approve leave) faculty BHCs and psychologists with a primary appointment in the Eating Disorders OP Specialty Program. Other supervisory responsibilities include:Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
