• Lead Plant Operator - Recycling Facility

    Waste Connections (Albuquerque, NM)


    We are looking for an experienced equipment operator to add to our team at our recycling plant in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

     

    In this position you will be a lead operator for the recycling plant, operating our forklift, the Front End Loader and baler.

     

    $23.00-$26.00 per hour depending on experience

     

    Schedule: Monday- Friday (6:00am-4:30pm)(50 hours per week)

     

    Occasional Saturdays.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    + Pushing recyclables onto an incline belt

    + Loading recycle materials in a hopper

    + Loading, dump trucks, open top trailers, pushing up piles of yard debris, rubble

    + Responsible for equipment inspection

    + Assisting customers and employees as needed.

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    + Proven experience in operating Forklifts and Balers

    + Previous Lead or Supervisory experience **required**

    + Ability to beself-directedas well as work in a team environment

    + Ability to work in all weather conditions

    + Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
