    Salary: $585 / Week

     

    Position: School Aide Location: Santa Maria, CA Start Date: August 2025 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 32.5 hours/week Pay: $18/hour Grade Levels: K–8 Length: Full 2025–2026 school year

     

    Overview: Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring School Aides to support students in general and special education classrooms across Santa Maria. This full-time, onsite role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with children and contributing to a positive school environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Assist teachers with classroom instruction and student supervision

    + Support students with academic and behavioral needs

    + Help implement IEP accommodations and behavior plans

    + Escort students and assist with mobility or therapeutic care needs

    + Maintain a safe and structured learning environment

    Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Experience working with children or adults with special/behavioral needs preferred

    + Must be comfortable with toileting and diapering

    + CPR certification and TB clearance (if applicable)

    + Must be at least 18 years old and meet all federal, state, and local requirements
