• TA/Paraprofessional 25/26 School Year

    Salary: $720 / Week

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is in need of Paraprofessional for the 25/26 school year. The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.

     

    Pay: Up to $22/hr based on experience

     

    Hours: Depends on grade level

    Requirements:

    + 1 + year of paraprofessional experience

    + RIDE TA certification or Bachelors degree

    + Must be able to be flexible to float within district if needed

    + 30 minute lunch break required (non-negotiable)

    Minimum Requirements:

    + High School diploma or equivalent required

    + Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
