Job Title: Special Education Teacher (Multiple Openings – K-12)

Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 hours/week | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Start Date: August 4, 2025

End Date: June 4, 2026

Work Type: In-Person Only

Position Summary:

The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, provides high-quality educational services to students with special needs from kindergarten through grade 12. This role requires a strong commitment to collaborative planning and implementation of individualized student programs, including specialized instruction, tutorial support, and consultation with general education staff.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

+ Valid state teaching certificate (as required by state, contract, or district regulations)

+ Minimum of one year of teaching experience (preferred)

+ State Teacher Certification Types (preferred):

+ Standard Elementary Teaching

+ Standard Secondary Teaching

+ Standard Special Teaching

+ Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) (preferred)

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

Caseload:

Varies by school and will be discussed during the interview process.
