The primary responsibilities of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor are to ensure the safety, and quality of a service unit that performs work for a select group of customers and facilities

A day in the life:

+ Perform the duties of a Service Technician including response to regular service calls and maintenance agreement inspections as workload dictates

+ Serve as a good example to Apprentices and fellow Technicians in delivering great customer care, completing all paperwork

+ Provide planning and work execution guidance to Apprentices and Technicians; inspect work quality to ensure services provided meet customer expectations and Company standards

+ Provide support to Service Coordinators and help make decisions with Technician assignments, scheduling and customer issues

+ Assist the Sales Team with major estimates for equipment repair and replacements; provide technical assistance in preparing proposals for service agreements

+ Work effectively with customers regarding complaints and call-backs; ensure that customer issues are resolved in a timely manner

You should have:

+ Work experience as a Commercial Service Technician with a specialization in troubleshooting, servicing and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment

+ Journeyman HVAC license (or ability to obtain within 12 months)

+ Experience diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems and related controls

+ Experience with BAS, Hydronics and Refrigeration (preferred)

+ EPA certification and knowledge of OSHA regulations

+ High school diploma or equivalent
