    The Opportunity

     

    The Accounts Payable Clerk manages incoming payments, and cash flow to ensure timely payments to vendors. Responsibilities include but not limited to document and report preparation, payment processing and management, record keeping and bookkeeping, and tax and auditing preparation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Matching and processing invoices to purchase orders.

    • Data-entry.

    • Processing payments.

    • Sending invoices to upper management for approval.

    • Reconciliation of credit card statements.

    • Maintaining vendor files.

    • Review of vendor statements.

    • Communicating with vendors.

    • Improving payables processes.

    • Reporting on environmental and sustainability metrics.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate Degree in Accounting or Business required or 3-5 years of experience in a finance-related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.

    • Experience with Made2Manage and Oracle a plus
