• Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing Manager

    As the Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will assist in establishing the direction and deliverables of the Hospital’s Materials Management department. Manages and leads the day-to-day operations of the materials management strategic contracting functions and ensures optimal integration of systems, procedures, and personnel. Supports the Hospital’s overall expense, operational, quality and safety improvement goals and enhances the department’s dependability, quality, and efficiency. Develops controls and systems that incorporate and exhibit best industry practices, as well as corporate knowledge and expertise, and ensure employees are trained and follow these practices. Supports planning, direction, management, and coordination of strategic sourcing related functions in support of the LGH mission and vision. Provides assistance, guidance and sets an example for all members of the LGH workforce in meeting operational and fiscal objectives related to supply and service provider selection, contracting, negotiations, asset management and the ethical execution of all related business functions.

    EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE: Required:

    + Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management or a closely related field.

    + 5 or more years contracting experience in healthcare supply chain.

    + Direct managerial or supervisory experience.

    + Proficiency dealing with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including but not limited to executives, physicians, clinical staff and legal.

    Preferred:

    + Advanced degree in business, healthcare management or a closely related field.

    + 10 or more years contracting experience in healthcare supply chain.

    + 5 or more years direct managerial or supervisory experience.
