    Responsibilities

    The Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation (BSWIR) Department of Psychology isseeking a per diemNeuropsychologist for ouroutpatient neurorehabilitation program. Responsibilities include:

     

    + Provision of clinical neuropsychological assessment and consultation services

    + Provision of feedback to the patient, care partner(s) and treatment teamregardingtest results and their practical applications

    + Diagnosis and treatment of neurobehavioral changes that result fromacquiredbrain injuries

     

    BSWIR Dallas is on the Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) campus east of downtown Dallas.This campus houses the flagship rehabilitation hospital – a 92-bed facility specializing in the treatment of traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury,strokeand other conditions – the post-acuteneurorehabilitationday program foracquiredbrain injuries, post-acute spinal cord injury day program, and outpatientneurorehabilitationservices. These programs serveapproximately 600acquiredbrain injury patientsper year.This position is located in the outpatient center and primarily provides services to patients undergoingpost-acute comprehensiverehabilitation for traumatic brain injury, stroke and other forms of acquired brain injuries.

    Qualifications

    + PhD orPsyDfrom an APA/CPA approved program in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or Health Psychology

    + Completion of an APA accredited internship

    + Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship with emphasis in Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology

    + Eligibility for board certification in Rehabilitation Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology

    + Licensed or license eligible in the state of Texas
