We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care professional to join our team and provide meaningful support to a client receiving hospice care at home. Position Overview We are looking for a gentle, empathetic, and experienced CNA to provide in-home support for a client who is now receiving end-of-life care following a period of cancer treatment. This part-time role offers the opportunity to bring comfort, dignity, and peace to someone in their final chapter of life. The ideal candidate will have a calm and nurturing presence, with experience in hospice or palliative care. Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and emotional support—all delivered with sensitivity, respect, and compassion. Primary Responsibilities * Provide gentle, respectful personal care tailored to the client’s comfort and needs * Offer companionship and emotional support to both the client and their family * Assist with daily living activities, including mobility support and hygiene * Maintain a peaceful and supportive environment in the home * Collaborate with hospice professionals and family members to ensure continuity of care Qualifications * Preferred Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with active license in the state of Virginia * Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care preferred * Compassionate, patient, and emotionally attuned to the needs of clients and families * Physically able to assist with transfers using gait belts or other mobility aids * Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation Caregiver Benefits * Competitive pay * Mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per mile for client-related travel * Paid training and ongoing professional development opportunities Join our team and help provide comfort and dignity to those who need it most.
