The Senior Financial Analyst provides advanced level expertise to prepare financial analysis, metrics and reports and complete special projects as required.This is a hybrid role (three days a week) based out of our Dallas, TX office.

     

    Job Highlights

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : ( The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation)

     

    + Prepares financial analyses, including trending, productivity metrics, revenue cycle, and other ad hoc projects, as well as financial reports and graphic presentations.

    + Reviews existing methods for extracting, analyzing, and presenting data through project completion.

    + Maintains a thorough understanding of the company’s financial information system, including the ability to write financial reports and make inquiries for data.

    + Responds to financial surveys on a monthly, quarterly, annual, or ad hoc basis.

    + Handles confidential material on a regular basis and is responsible for protecting the confidentiality of such information.

    + Organizes individual work schedule and establishes priorities for the completion of projects within guidelines from management.

    + Provides additional back up for payroll monthly reconciliations.

    + Performs additional duties, as needed.

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related area required, Master’s preferred.

    + Three years of analytical experience with a master’s degree or 8 years of analytical experience with a bachelor’s degree required.

    + Three to five years healthcare experience strongly preferred.

    + Proficient PC skills, specifically in Excel and Access are required.

    + Two years of experience with SQL and VBA programming preferred. C sharp experience is a plus.

    + Must possess superior analytical abilities, including the ability to identify issues, problems, and solutions.

    + Superior mathematical aptitude, including the ability to build formulas for performing analysis required.

    + Excellent oral and written communications skills.

    + Ability to work independently and under deadlines, demonstrating solid professional judgment.

    + Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, and systems preferred.

    + Knowledge of office management practices and accounting procedures.

    + Strong computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access.

    + Skill in verbal and written communication.

    + Proficient in gathering and reporting information.

    + Ability to work effectively and independently with staff, physicians and external customers.

    + Communicate well with the public.

    + Ability to read, write and speak English.
