+ Follow best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck

+ Adhere to all State and Local laws surrounding commercial vehicle operation

+ Work with other departments in support of deliveries

+ Organize and schedule time to support on time deliveries

+ Load, secure and unload cargo

+ Operate safely on a shipping and receiving dock

+ Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education/Training (both required and desired):

+ High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

+ 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area

+ Must be comfortable operating 26’ Box Truck, backing into docks, operating pickup trucks with trailers, and forklifts.

+ Must possess excellent driving record.

+ Must have experience working in a shipping and receiving environment preferably in a manufacturing setting.

+ Must have experience with Microsoft Suite and WMS/ERP Programs

Security:

+ Must be a US citizen

+ Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required

Physical Requirements

+ Able to assess, install, and modify equipment, and inspect machinery

+ Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, grasp and reach with hands and arms, handle and operate hand/power tools and machine controls

+ Perform frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements

+ Prolonged periods of standing while operating machinery

+ Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety gear (e.g., eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, etc.) for the assigned task

+ Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time
