    Job Description

    _This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in office 2-3 days a week (10-12 days a month) at the following office location: St. Petersburg, FL._

    Responsibilities

    + Lead team of specialized developers and analysts and be responsible for growing the team, maturing processes, adhering to service level objectives and agreements, project management activities, and resource management across multiple geographic locations.

    + Coach and develop the team to draw the best performance out of each team member and push them to grow and stretch their skills and abilities.

    + Strong experience with all phases of SDLC lifecycle. Hands-on experience as a technical leader with Java, Spring, Python, SQL, ETL tooling, Micro services, Automation, Document Generation, Document Archival, and solution architecture.

    + Organize production support activities across multiple time zones.

    + Work with our business partners to understand requirements, design IT solutions and ensure they meet the business needs balanced with a pragmatic approach to design.

    + Ensure that the team maintains high performance, maintainability, and quality standards for software.

    + Influence the prioritization of business unit technology projects, optimal project structure and project administration to ensure strategic business objectives are met and risk is managed.

    + Focus on workforce management to accurately capture IT resource capacity involving resources (internal and/or external), processes and practices.

    + Develop and maintain development methodology and ensure all team members understand their responsibilities in this process.

    + Work a non-standard schedule including nights and weekends and have on-call responsibilities (primary contact for any issue in the area)

    Skills

    + Application Development, Solution Architecture, Java based technologies, Document Generation (OpenText, MessagePoint, JasperSoft, etc), Python, Bash, SQL (MSSQL/Oracle PL/SQL)and other development technologies

    + Strong technical background in technologies as applicable

    + Ability to manage a team

    + Adapt quickly to learn multiple technologies, and understand architectural dependencies, data flows and integrations between them

    + Adapt and prioritize in an extremely dynamic and fluid environment
