    Cook

     

    Shift: 8 hour shift -varied start time 5a-7am, 5 days per week | Weekend Rotation requiredStatus: Full-Time Department: Dining Services

    Role Responsibilities:

    + Preparing food items for residents of Teresian House.

    + Prep and cook food items to order for a nursing unit following all food safety guidelines.

    + Assist with everyday preparation of food and items needed for daily meal output.

    + Maintain a clean and sanity work environment.

    Qualified Cook candidates will have:

    + High school graduate or equivalent.

    + Knowledge of and at least one year's experience in general quantity cooking.

    + Interest in continuing education in culinary arts.

    + Ability to read and follow recipes and production sheets.

    + Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

    + ServSafe certified preferred
