Hourly Rate: $22.86 an hour

Conagra Brands in Hagerstown, proud makers of Gardein, is looking for a Forming & Frying Operator to join our 1st shift team. You will join a team of about 250 and will report to the Production Supervisor.

Schedule:

1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 4:30am - 2:30pm | You will need to be available for weekend work

Starting Pay:

$22.86/hour | Your wage will increase over time!

Essential duties:

You can perform all of the following job responsibilities:

+ Must understand all GMP’s for producing quality product

+ Can understand production schedule

+ Must follow all OSHA and Plant safety rules

+ Assist operators with minor change-over aspects

+ Will perform tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader

+ Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds

+ Other tasks as assigned **Level 2 must perform all above and below duties.**

+ Can assemble and operate high speed equipment, including Kitter, Mixer, Freezer, Former, and Fryer.

+ Can assist the Operators in all responsibilities such as clearing jams, stacking off, climbing, machine faults, loading of materials, checking code dates.

+ Responsible for recording of specific information in CDC

+ Follow Quality Assurance standards and WinSPC - computerized weight control

+ Responsible for minor repairs and adjustments of each machine center line

+ Responsible for staging changeover parts before changeover and returning changeover parts to changeover parts cart

Experience:

+ Any previous manufacturing experience

+ Complete basic match computation

+ Understanding of weights and measurements

Education:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent required
