    Position Description

    At a Glance

     

    Legrandis seeking aHuman Resources Intern (Part-Time Fall 2025)to join theElectrical Wiring Devices HR teaminConcord, NC. This onsite role offers hands-on experience in HR operations, recruiting, engagement, compliance, and HR technology.

     

    A key focus will be supporting major HRIS, benefits, and compliance initiatives, including a Legrand Group compliance survey, the 2025 Health & Wellness Career Fair, the launch of a new global HRIS system, and preparations for 2026 open enrollment.

     

    What Will You Do?

     

    HRIS, Benefits & Compliance Projects – Primary Focus

     

    + Assist with a Legrand Group compliance survey for non-benefit-selected employees.

    + Support the launch of a new global HRIS system, ensuring non-connected employees gain portal access.

    + Assist with the 2026 benefits open enrollment process, including communication and employee support.

    + Help plan and execute the September 2025 Health & Wellness Career Fair, coordinating vendors, logistics, and ensuring a positive event experience.

    Additional Responsibilities

    + Provide administrative support including file maintenance, ticket tracking, and employee communications.

    + Assist in recruiting and onboarding by posting jobs, reviewing applicants, and coordinating interviews.

    + Support employee engagement events and recognition activities.

    + Participate in special HR projects and suggest process improvements.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills

    Requirements

    + Enrolled in a bachelor’s program in HR, Business, or related field (sophomore–senior preferred).

    + Prior work or internship experience preferred, manufacturing or office experience a plus.

    + Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems helpful.

    + Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with new technology.

    + Able to work 10 hours/week, August–December 2025.
