    Description

    POSITION SUMMARY

    This person will review technical drawings to ensure they meet stringent quality standards, project requirements and compliance requirements before they move into the production phase. By meticulously reviewing blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    / Examine and verify engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness.

     

    / Assess drawings as it relates to ability to produce the parts with traditional manufacturing methods.

     

    / Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications

     

    / Identify and correct errors, omissions, or discrepancies in drawings.

     

    / Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve drawing issues.

     

    / Provide feedback and recommendations for improving drawing accuracy and clarity.

     

    / Assist in the training of junior staff or new team members on drawing standards.

     

    / Utilize specialized software to review and edit drawings.

     

    / Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures for drawings.

     

    / Work closely with procurement and vendors to handle vendor information requests as it relates to the drawings.

    Requirements

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    / Previous experience in a similar role.

     

    / Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.

     

    / Strong understanding of engineering principles and standards.

     

    / Strong grasp of manufacturing principles (welding, machining, Quality.)

     

    / Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

     

    / Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

     

    / Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

     

    / Strong problem-solving skills.

     

    / Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

     

    / Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

     

    / Ability to use design and drafting software proficiently.

     

    / Good communication and interpersonal skills.

     

    / Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

     

    / Ability to identify and correct drawing errors effectively.

     

    / Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

     

    / Commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality.

    Education and Experience:

    / Minimum of 5-7 years of manufacturing experience.

     

    / Proven experience in a similar role.

     

    / Previous design experience preferred

    Physical Demands:

    / The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, hear and talk.

     

    / The employee is frequently required to use hands.

     

    / The employee occasionally will be required to reach with hands or arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

     

    / The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and talk or hear.

     

    / The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

     

    / Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and depth perception.

    Salary Description

    $30 - $35 Per Hour Depending on Experience
