    Job Descriptions:

    Aviation & Missile Solutions (AMS) is currently seeking a Junior Test Engineer to join our Huntsville, AL. team.

     

    Candidate will be co-located with an Army Project Office providing test planning and execution support to an Army Test Team operating at Redstone Arsenal, AL for Air Defense System of Systems (SoS) testing. Candidate will be required to support the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office with integration and testing of components such as IBCS, Patriot, Sentinel, LTAMDS, IFPC, and future sensors and launchers into the System of Systems construct, and also integration with a network of test tools that support system testing. Candidate must be able to prioritize competing requirements for time and resources and be able to adjudicate resource requirements based on understanding of Government customer and mission needs.

     

    This position will be responsible for supporting test activities of Air and Missile Defense capabilities to include Qualification Testing, Distributed Ground Testing, and Range Field Testing. This position will address work associated with generation of pre-test documentation to include test plans, test requirements, test procedures, and test case matrices, as well as assisting with technical planning meetings and Management Reviews. Qualification testing experience is strongly desired. Experience with Army Air Defense Systems such as Patriot, LTAMDS, and IBCS is desired. An understanding of DOD test and integration of complex defense systems, especially Command and Control systems, and the current regulations, policies, and procedures governing this testing is desired.

     

    Candidate must be self-motivated and possess good communication and team working skills in order to coordinate activities across several external organizations. This work will occur as part of a Test Execution Team; therefore, the candidate must be able to work in a high paced team environment consisting of government and prime contractor personnel from multiple projects, agencies, and labs including external agency stakeholders

    Required Experience:

    Candidate must be a US Citizen; possess a BS in an Engineering or a Sciences field or have equivalent experience; and have 1-3 years of experience in test planning and execution support. Travel to DoD Test Ranges will be required and the candidate must be able to work a flexible work schedule during periods of test execution. Candidate must be a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL.

     

    Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
