Description We are looking for an experienced and visionary Director to lead our IT operations and strategy in Gennessee, Colorado. This position offers the opportunity to drive technological innovation and ensure the alignment of IT initiatives with organizational goals in a non-profit setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a passion for technology, and a commitment to fostering collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy and multi-year roadmap in partnership with the VP of IT, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Recruit, train, and lead a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and collaboration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technological needs, improve processes, and implement effective solutions.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, including servers, networks, cloud environments, and telecommunications, ensuring reliability and security.
• Supervise help desk operations to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and maintain high user satisfaction.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including contract negotiations and performance monitoring.
• Develop and maintain a robust cybersecurity program, including regular threat assessments and incident response protocols.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies through regular audits and risk assessments.
• Define and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans, conducting periodic tests to ensure readiness.
• Lead and manage complex IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet organizational goals. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in IT management, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in deskside support, computer hardware, and backup technologies.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies, cloud ERP systems, and CRM platforms.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to oversee complex initiatives and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and allocate resources strategically.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
