    My client is a leading manufacturing client in the Greater Baltimore area currently recruiting for a Director of Accounting role.     Compensation: Up to $170K base + bonus

     

    Team Leadership: ~10 direct reports

    What You’ll Do:

    + Lead and develop the accounting team to become strategic business partners

    + Drive execution of company-wide initiatives led by accounting

    + Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls

    + Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies

    + Manage audits, cash flow, and shareholder reporting

    + Collaborate cross-functionally to support long-term value creation

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree preferred.

    • Minimum of 10 years of financial leadership experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. Construction experience also considered.

    • Proven expertise in cash management and strategic financial planning.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with C-level executives.

    • Demonstrated ability to build long-term value within organizations.

    • Resilience and the ability to effectively manage complex projects and challenges.

    • Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.

    • Collaborative leadership style with a focus on achieving results through teamwork.
