    ### Job Duties

    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated IHS Worker to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, facilitate communication between individuals and their case managers, and offer support in maintaining independence and overall well-being. The IHS Worker will be working one-on-one with individuals in both home and community settings, ensuring they receive personalized care and support to improve their quality of life while we remain hands free. We support our people served but we do not do personal cares or touch our people. We are hands free!

    Key Responsibilities:

    -Provide assistance with daily living activities (e.g., meal preparation and medication reminders).

     

    -Support individuals in maintaining their independence and achieving their goals.

     

    -Facilitate communication between individuals and their case managers to ensure needs are met.

     

    -Observe and report any changes in the individual’s condition or well-being to the appropriate team leads.

     

    -Encourage and support individuals in social, community, and recreational activities.

     

    -Ensure safety and security of individuals in their home and community settings.

     

    -Maintain accurate records of care, progress, and any incidents.

     

    -Work independently and manage time effectively while maintaining a strong communication link with team leads and the overall support team.

     

    -Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including confidentiality standards.

     

    Be person centered and Communicate with Case managers on a monthly basis!

     

    ### Minimum Education Required

    High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or experience in healthcare, social services, or related fields preferred

     

    ### Minimum Experience Required

    -High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or experience in healthcare, social services, or related fields preferred.

     

    -Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

     

    -Compassionate, empathetic, and reliable with a strong desire to help others.

     

    -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals, case managers, and team leads.

     

    -Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

     

    -Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable, insured vehicle.

     

    -Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

     

    -Experience in a similar role or direct care position preferred but not required.

     

    -Must pass a background check.
