RENTAL SHOP TECHNICIAN – Memphis, TN At Raymond Central, our technicians are the heart and soul of our company. We are looking for a Rental Shop Technician to support the oversight and maintenance of our used and rental forklift fleet. Some overtime may be required based on customer demands. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: * Maintain, service and support rental and used equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner so that all requirements are met. * Diagnose, trouble-shoot, and repair forklifts and other equipment in accordance with established guidelines and procedures; ensuring that positive relationships are established. * Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to established procedures and cost guidelines at customer’s facility. * Complete all required paperwork and time records accurately and completely follow Mobile Tech Procedures as directed by management. * Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used as required. * Work safely in accordance with company and/or customer safety policies and procedures. * Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with customers and co-workers. * Report all accidents, injuries, safety violations and unsafe working conditions immediately. * Keep work area clean and safe at all times. * Attend meetings, training classes and other company activities as required. * Maintain uniforms to always look neat and professional. * Keep an adequate set of personal tools as required by the position. * Work with all departments and employees to ensure high quality customer service. * Various additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Ideal candidate will possess: -Strong mechanical aptitude & ability; basic knowledge of industrial electricity -Ability to read schematics, diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturer’s specifications -Experience within the industrial maintenance, automotive, heavy equipment industries Minimum Qualifications: -HS Diploma or GED -At least two (2) years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components -Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs -Must be able to climb ladders and/or work on elevated platforms that may be 15’ to 30’ in height #HEUTECH
